EVENING/WEEKEND SHIFT LEADER (PART-TIME)

The Shift Leader works in the safe house during the assigned shift to maintain a safe healing environment for residents and provide consistent operations by upholding the program model and resident guidelines. The successful applicant will maintain strong leadership in any situation, including conflict resolution, crisis response and handling difficult relational dynamics. This person will communicate effectively with residents and hold them accountable as they progress through the program and learn successful life skills. Knowledge of addict behaviors and trauma is helpful. Familiarity with 12-step or similar healing and recovery program (e.g. Celebrate Recovery) is desired.

EVENT COORDINATOR FOR FALL 2019 FUNDRAISING EVENT

OHIO VALLEY

City Director Assistant

The City Director Assistant works with the City Director in setting up and maintaining the office systems necessary to support effective donor relations, administrative and program operations. Job scope includes assisting with all aspects of local operations, including fundraising activities, coordinating local events and training activities related to opening and operating a local Refuge for Women program and safe house. In addition, this position will assist the City Director in fostering community and church partnerships, maintaining a volunteer base and overseeing/coordinating ongoing communications, promotional efforts with staff, volunteers, donors and community partners. Primary responsibilities include assisting the City Director as needed with planning, budgeting and monthly financial reporting activities, coordinating staff meetings, trainings and development activities, maintaining contact lists for volunteers, donors and staff and database oversight. The successful candidate will have strong written and verbal communications skills (including proficiency in MS Office and Google applications), experience with Quickbooks is desirable, and office or admin experience, knowledge of office management systems and procedures.

ASSISTANT PROGRAM DIRECTOR - FULL-TIME

The Assistant Program Director reports to the Program Director and assists with all duties related to running the program and day-to-day safe house activities. The APD is expected to lead house operations during temporary absences of the Program Director or when PD is off-site. This position will set up and maintain administrative system as well as train and supervise volunteers. Primary responsibilities include maintaining house inventory, assisting with resident progress tracking and assessment, maintaining resident records and house documentation, assisting with intake and discharge and assisting in making appointments and scheduling transportation for residents. The successful candidate will have strong written and verbal communications skills (including proficiency in MS Office and Google applications), ability to adapt to frequently changing priorities and crisis situations and experience in office administration. Knowledge about addict behaviors and trauma is very helpful as is familiarity with 12-step or similar healing and recovery program (e.g. Celebrate Recovery). Must be able to operate a motor vehicle safely and confidently at all times of day or night. Resume deadline is June 28.
